VMware tools is reporting unsupported.

We have a bunch of vms that are all reporting that there VMware tools are unsupported now for some reason today.
What do I need to do to get them back to supported?
We did nothing to the host so not sure why this is occuring
I tried to upgrade them, but I get the error message VMware tools iso image does not exsist or is inaccessible

windows 7 is on the vms and as I said we did not change anything on the host. The vms that are reporting this are win 7 32 and 64 bit but I have a group of win 7 vms on another host are reporting ok

Ok if I move one of the affected vms from the host their on to another one and the VMware tools were good, so when I bring it back to the original host the error comes back. The VMware os on this affected host is on an SD card.
Could the host possible need rebooted or is there something I can do?
are the esxi hosts on the same build and patch level. you will get this error if hosts are on diff patch levels
Host reboot and Restart Management Agents, does it change ?

Well I tried the restart of the mgmt. agents yesterday but that changed nothing. I have not done a reboot of the host as of yet but we may have found the issue..
The host are running on a Cisco UCS and there is an issue with one of the fabric interconnects that may have something to do with this. So we are going to try to get this resolved first and then see what happens with the unsupported message. Because we cant even get the VMware tools to upgrade or reinstall if we remove it, but all that does work on any of the other host.
Out of the 6 host, the one that is having the VMware tools issue does have a different build number than the other 5 host

We found out our issue. There was an issue with the blade server interconnects that was causing the issue with the VMware tools on this host.
Thanks for all the input.
