power consumption
I'm looking at installing 14 switches in a data closet and I wanted to know exactly how many amps will that draw at startup, to ensure I have enough power circuits.
I've looked at the technical specs found below, but I'm trying to calculate exactly how many amps each switch will draw, so I know if I need 2 or 3 circuits?
https://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst2960x/hardware/installation/guide/b_c2960x_hig_appendix_0100.html
I'm planning to have (7) 2960X -48-FPD-L in a stack, and each one on a APC. Also was trying to figure out if I need a 20amp or 30amp circuit, I'm guess if I get a 30 amp circuit,
it gives me more options for the APC to use.
Any thoughts?

APC is UPS brand? Get what you want 20A is a minimum, 2X is a nice to have,
Yes APC stands for "American Power Conversion" and is a maker primarily known for it's UPS's.
I would check with an electrician. You really should have a 30A circuit and proper wiring if you are going to use a 30A UPS. There are some wiring concerns that could be a potential electrical fire hazard. Give the load you probably won't have an issue however it could create an issue down the road when you or someone forgets that the wiring and circuit don't match the UPS.
