Windows 10 Folder Views

On Windows 10, is there a way to create a default view on all new and/or existing windows?

For example. if I go into C:\Videos, I want it to display as a list with X, Y, and Z columns (not the default Microsoft view for each folder).

Is there a way to do this?

Within the folder you want to change the view on.  Right click on any "open" white area (in the screenshot I have attached).  Then select view, then select details.

You can change the default view as suggested in the first post here. But the default does not normally last. Updates seem to change default settings. Also adding new folders appears to change defaults.

I just do the default settings from time to time.

More importantly, I use xPlorer2 (zabkat) most of the time because its view settings are permanent and saved in a file.
