Not sure why 32b workstations stopped updating av definitions last year.
there are 32bit client workstations on our network, failing to update virus definitions with eset 5.0.2126.0.
The Eset remote administrator is version 6.5. The last time succesfull updates ran on the 32b workstations was Jan 2018. ERA was installed on our network's server on 01/02/2018.
Is eset 5.0.2126.0 compatible with ERA 6.5?
I also noticed (in about) that there is 0 currentl licenses for ERA. Could this be the problem?
I am trying to figure out what the previous IT guy did with ESET. I conjecture that he installed the new ERA, and it broke the update server for the older client installs. Newer client workstations on our network use version 6.5, it checks ESET servers for definition updates, not our in-house proxy server. Does this sound fesible?
