Speed descriptions of routers and switches
ROUTERS & SWITCH SPECS - I have a Linksys EA9500 router. I get 950 Mbps down and up to any device hooked to it. I have Ubiquiti POE PRO 8 channel switch hooked to the router. On the input to the switch it says 10/100. Does that mean that the switch is only capable of maximum 100 Mbps? I think that is my problem since devices hooked to the switch are only showing 95 Mbps. Please set me straight.

There are many. If you're looking to keep your budget manageable, try TP-Link TL-SG1008PE (140W max) for just over 100 bucks, while D-Link DGS-1100 (64W max) can be under a 100 bucks

Hello David Johnson, please let me confirm that I understand what you are saying. You are telling me that the Ubiquiti switch DOES have gigabit ports? That confuses me. The MGMT input port on that switch is marked 10/100 and not 10/100/1000. The cable is only 6 inches long. I will replace that cable after I post this and see if it helps.

I am going to close this question to the best of my ability and re-post a separate question concerning which new switch I should purchase. Thanks to all.
That is the MGMT port ONLY
