"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi Vrik22,

This question looks like an entire task. What you are trying to do can be achieved but it will take a lot of time and effort and I am not sure if I can do that entirely on my own.

One quick way you could achieve this is via hosting the document on OneDrive / Office Online and then embedding it via embed code. Please have a look at : https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Embed-a-Word-document-in-your-blog-0faa0253-2751-44bf-8486-ea7837fe7db1

Also Microsoft Word offers a huge set of features, if you are just looking for text editing then I would recommend using TinyMCE or CKEditor instead of trying to implement Word document editing functionality.

Regards,
Chinmay.

If you have 5 or less active users CKEditor is free as well. Check their pricing.

Yes. Check Self Hosted and then starter pack. It is absolutely free. It is just that there are add-ons and other premium features for which you have to shell out money. Other than that it's all free.
