CenturyLink Fiber to Ethernet Handoff w/Zyxel USG 20 firewall/router…

I just installed a CenturyLink fiber to ethernet handoff at my office. CenturyLink included an Actiontec modem/router, but it doesn’t meet my needs (eg: VPN, etc.). Does anyone know how to program a Zyxel USG 20 to work with the ethernet handoff? Please note this service still requires a PPPoE authentication. CenturyLink engineers stated I should be able to use my firewall/router since it’s a true ethernet handoff, however, they aren’t allowed to provide guidance in programming. Zyxel support engineers weren’t much help. Thanks in advance.

When you have at both sides a router that can do pppoe, you just create static routes and point them to the pppoe address on the other side.
this will do the job

If you have the PPPoE username & password (if required) then configuration is  fairly straight forward.

1) option Configuration, Network, PPP
2) Select the right interface and configure by setting up the fields.

(I don't have a 20 available, i have access to USG 200 &  USG 60;
On the 60 I need to create an account profile (Username / Password).
In my case with fake entries as the ISP doesn't verify them,  and the USG does require a profile).
