Can you save the photo into one of your albums. &nbsp;I think the main Camera roll is for taking photos. I have sent photos from Camera Roll, but photos I save go into Albums. Make a new Album and try it.

I have no difficulty saving--being given the option to save--with photos downloaded from Google, say. The photo in question was downloaded from a site I uploaded it to originally--perhaps that has something to do with the difficulty. <br />

I have no albums that I've created--just &quot;loose&quot; photos.<br />

iOS 12.1.2. I'm trying to save an image that's in a message to my camera roll. When I tap and hold on the photo I don't get a save option--just "copy" and "more..." How do I save this photo to my camera roll--or, alternatively, paste it into same? 

I've tried tapping on "copy"; when I go to my camera roll I'm "told" that the photo group has been "updated just now," but i can't find the picture in the collection.

iOS is a mobile operating system developed by Apple; it is a derivative of the Mac OS X desktop operating system, with which it shares many (but not all) common frameworks and other components.
