Outlook not updating


My boss is using exchange in outlook. He set up a laptop in the conference room so he can check his email if needed. His desktop outlook / cell phone email work fine. But the outlook in his laptop is not working.

I did scanpst on the ost file, it did find some errors and fixed them.  Outlook says it is connected to the server, but says "This folder was last updated on 2/4/2019." Even by pressing Send/Receive, it still reads the same. Any ideas? thanks

Make a new local Outlook profile on the Laptop. Delete the existing Outlook Profile, restart the computer, make a new Outlook Profile and test Send / Receive.

If you have continued issues, make a new, test Windows User Profile (Account). Log into the new Windows Account, set up Outlook and test Send / Receive.
