Intrusion System Blocks Website

I have Snort installed on a pfSense box and it is blocking access to startribune.com.  When I do a ping of startribune.com I am getting 52.44.42.61, which does not appear in the logs that I have looked at.  Does anyone have any ideas why I wouldn't be able to get there if that IP is not blocked?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Can you try again, but search for IP 104.16.66.51 instead?

Yes, that one was in there.  How did you come up with this IP address?

You assume startribune.com and www.startribune.com are the same, but most of the time, they are different servers with different purposes. Browsers usually skip that and go to www anyway.
