MSAccess 2016 Application Left Pane disappeard

Last week I created a MSaccess application using MSAccess2016 but using mdb  not accdb format.  It consists of the usual Tables, Queries, Forms, Reports etc...

Today when I open the application there is a Button that says "Enable Contents".  If I click that "Enable Contents" button the Left Pane containing all my Tables, Queries, Forms, Reports etc... disappears and there is no way to get them back, even when I close and reopen the application.

Question: How do I get my Left Pane back?

Ideas anyone?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the database, and let go of it only once the database is fully loaded, did the navigation pane load?  If so,then go into the Access Options -> Current Database -> Navigation and insure that the Display Navigation Pane checkbox is check/enabled.  Then try open it again normally.

The other question I have for you is do you use any code at your startup?  If so, the culprit might be in there, but we'd need to see your code to find the issue there.
