We had HP ProLiant DL380G5 and I have removed all the low capacity hard disks and now I have purchased 8 refurbished HP 300GB 6G SAS 2.5 inch Hard disk for this server.<br />
<br />
Firstly, Plaese let me know what raid type would be best for this file server.<br />
<br />
I want to leave one hard disk as a hot spare. Please can you post me tutorials to achieve this.<br />

Servers are computing devices that are similar to desktop computers in that they have the same basic components, but are significantly different in size, configuration and purpose.
