Need Help: Excel formula explained

Hi,

Having trouble deciphering what this formula is in layman's terms.

=-SUMIFS('Expanded Data'!$E:$E,'Expanded Data'!$A:$A,'EO100'!$E$5,'Expanded Data'!$B:$B,'EO100'!A361,'Expanded Data'!$C:$C,'EO100'!B361)

Any help deciphering is apprecaiated greatly.

Thank you.  My issue was I made a bad assumption on the data on tab 'Expanded Data'.  They had two hidden rows where the data resided and I did not see that :).  Thanks again!!

Welcome, glad that was helpful.

Now back to the client to ask how the values it summed actually got there in the source data.  I think they were manually typed in, which then is a whole other ball of yarn to untangle :)
