Are you locating this new file share in a completely different location? <br />
Is so you will want to make sure that the Sites and Services is properly setup to avoid traffic from going over the wire between locations. <br />

Thank you both for the reply. &nbsp;the idea was to have to VM's each VM' being in a seperate cluster and replicating to each other. &nbsp;Ill read the article and follow up. I will be out of office for about a week so may not post my findings right away.

I have a file share server (Win 2012 R2) with 6 separate virtual hard disk partitions. &nbsp;I want to set up another file server to replicate to using DFS Replication. My question is, do i need to have the same exact number of disk partitions and their sizes or can i create a single partition with equal too or greater than the other servers partitions and replicate to it.
