How do I get my code to appear in LIVE SERVER??

Hi
I'm learning to use atom as my editor. One of the inviting things I like is LIVE PREVIEW, but I'm not sure how to use it. Is there a specific folder I have to put my work in to use LIVE SERVER?? I've installed the LIVE SERVER package already. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Best to provide context, as "live server" takes on different meanings in different contexts.

Maybe you're referring to https://www.npmjs.com/package/live-server which is fairly simple to get working. Just follow the instructions.

There are a couple live server packages https://atom.io/packages/atom-live-server and live server plus https://atom.io/packages/atom-live-server-plus.
