VBA and Chrome

Hello, Is it possible to script embeddable VBA for MS WORD that, instead of a direct hyperlink to URL, will point to CHROME then the URL?

I believe that for that to happen you would either need to set Chrome as your default browser or use a tool like Choosy.

thank you for the recommendation.  I will look into what the tool you've recommended: Choosy is all about.

You Rock!!   Thank you.  I had a bit of difficulty initially due to having a different Google directory reference on my C Drive, so I just needed to add the correct syntax.  Now I will be working to figure out how to attach it to the reference guide for my users.  They are used to just clicking on a hyperlink. I am thinking I need to make a button and then attach the VBA script to it... maybe I can mimic a URL type option whereby I attach the VBA to a string of text.  Anyway, this was very helpful information you've provided.
Thank you kindly.
You’re welcome and I’m glad I was able to help.
