Win10Pro DVD will not load into OS/Device Manager
I have a Windows 10 Professional 64bit Workstation (Dell Optiplex 9020). Recently upgraded to Windows 10 Professional 64bit. During the upgrade process a Windows 10 DVD was used for the upgrade/installation process. After the initial installation, additional svcpaks/upgrds were accomplished via the network with Windows Update. Somewhere in the process the DVD/CD ROM got uninstalled and I can NOT get it re-installed on the PC !!! I have tried everything I can think of to get the DVD to re-install. The error message I get within Device Manager is - " Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19) " I have tried 3 different DVD's and none of them will load. I tried attaching a USB DVD ROM and it loads with the same error message !!! I am at my wits end ...... DVD I am using is a - Matshita DVD +-RW SW830
