With an InfoPath form, the attachment is embedded within the XML and therefore is not exposed externally.<br />

If you have SharePoint it is better to upload a document and then just put a link in InfoPath, but whomever gets the email would also need to have access to SharePoint. Which at that point it is better to use SharePoint entirely and skip the email.

I have published the form, opened it, filled it out and added an attachment. &nbsp;The form is then sent to recipients via email. &nbsp;When I open the email the attachments do not show up as a link.
