When previously working with SCCM deploying to a test Env was always complete first taking into account as many variables as possible:<br />

- Software installs and versions, once applications are packaged adding restrictions to only deploy on specified OS's<br />
If you are looking to update thousands of computers adding these additional layers protects against the miss clicks and collection selections<br />
<br />
- Hardware compatibility issues<br />
I have historically had issues with network cards when deploying images. (same devices but different internal hardware) that has caused failures and made me scratch my head for quite some time.<br />
<br />
Test Deployment group should include something like the following:<br />
- Virtual machine (Win10/7)<br />
- Physical machines (to include models in your estate)<br />
<br />
It is important to push back on the business how long this level of testing might take, the power of SCCM to deploy applications to an entire estate also means you can take down the estate with a bad application deployment.

I want to migrate from Windows 7 to Windows 10 version 1809. I am using SCCM and have my task sequences ready to start everything.<br />
<br />
My question is related to applications compatibility. Is there any easy way with SCCM and/or any kind of configuration/package where I could take the application inventory from SCCM and somehow validate their compatibility with Windows 10 (any version). Or execute an application compatibility test for the applications running on my clients with Windows 7.<br />

I do not want to go manually because there are a few thousand computers and many many applications to test.<br />
