Make a new, test, Windows User Profile (Account) using Control Panel, Users and Groups. &nbsp;Log into the new test profile and &nbsp;test the document in the new profile. <br />
<br />
Otherwise, given No to all the above, uninstall Office, restart and install it again and patch.<br />
<br />
Also try the document on a new, different computer.

Is this a bug?  No.

Is it your keyboard?  Not likely.  Is the keyboard working otherwise?  Cursor keys are often used in Excel and other apps.

NO SOLUTION - There's something wrong with my laptop!<br />
1. I tried plugging in a keyboard and the arrow keys still didn't allow me to move my objects in a straight line.<br />
2. My arrow keys on the laptop also didn't allow me to move an object in a straight line.<br />
Gotta send it for repair.

MS Word 365 - I want to move my shapes in a straight line!  But I can't.

Office 365 is a group of software plus services subscriptions that provides productivity software and related services to its subscribers.
