MS Word 365 - I want to move my shapes in a straight line! But I can't.
When I use my keyboard arrow to move a rectangle or some other shape in MS Word, my shape does NOT move in a straight line! It randomly moves up, down, etc.
Is this a bug? Can't be my keyboard!

What if you hold down the shift key as you are moving it?
- click on one of the objects
- press CRTL-a (select all)
- the objects will now move as one object using the keyboard arrow

NO SOLUTION - There's something wrong with my laptop!
1. I tried plugging in a keyboard and the arrow keys still didn't allow me to move my objects in a straight line.
2. My arrow keys on the laptop also didn't allow me to move an object in a straight line.
Gotta send it for repair.

Is this a bug? No.
Is it your keyboard? Not likely. Is the keyboard working otherwise? Cursor keys are often used in Excel and other apps.
Is it a problem with your Windows User Profile?
Make a new, test, Windows User Profile (Account) using Control Panel, Users and Groups. Log into the new test profile and test the document in the new profile.
Otherwise, given No to all the above, uninstall Office, restart and install it again and patch.
Also try the document on a new, different computer.
