Automatic event creation from iphone email to google calendar

When clicking on a date or time in email on an iphone, it offers you the ability to create an event in the calendar and pre-populates all the various fields nicely.  Is there a way to force the event creation in my Google calendar rather than the ioS one?

I suggest the following:

1. Create the calendar event on the iPhone (easily done).
2. Now sync the iPhone calendar with the Google Calendar.
This will have the appointments in both places.

ASKER

Its not the way I want to do it because I have several mail accounts and calendars setup that I dont want lots of things syncing across.  Ive also lost ios calendar items so wouldn't want it removed from google calendar.
Hi,

Is the iPhone also synced with your Outlook Calendar? If so, then an article I wrote may help you with this. Please see the following article;

HOW TO: Sync your Outlook Calendar, Contacts and Tasks without needing a G Suite Subscription!

Give that a read and let me know if you have any additional questions.

Hope that's helpful.
