Cisco RV320 How do I get the router to Port Forward
Cisco Rv320 Port Forwarding not working. I can not ping computer from out the network (Example Telnet 192.168.0.101 300) errored out , but ping on inside the network. I setup up everything by Cisco Manual.
If all you need to do is reach 192.168.1.101 then you do this:
1) assign a port number so that any incoming is going to the public IP address on the outside with the port number added:
e.g. 75.75.75.80:9999
Then, in the router do this:
2) Under Setup / Forwarding
Add a Service such as Ping and the IP address 192.168.1.101.
3) You can add other Services (incoming ports or port ranges) pointing to that same IP address I should think.
To accept one port number incoming and translate it to another port number for an IP address on the LAN on this device, you use Port Address Translation instead of Forwarding. Then, under Service Management, create a service with the desired External port and Internal port. You can edit one that exists or create a new one.

I'm going to assume that you have used the documentation from cisco to configure port forwarding on the router. Having done that, can you see your pings reaching the router from outside?

Under firewall, general, you need to permit Remote Management and give it a Port number.
Make sure the Router has a very strong password. Userid is probably cisco. Some older RV routers used admin
