How to recover from an external drive

and after I wait a while - it delete all the files on the drive!

Please clarify, if all files have been deleted, there is nothing left to catalog and restore.
Backup Exec will not delete data on the drive. It can overwrite the .BKF on the drive as per the retention period.

but I have several more and it already deleted 2 drives...

When connecting the drive - I see the new "Disk storage 001" added - but it shows "History of used disk space is still being gathered" and after I wait a while - it delete all the files on the drive!

Is it suppose to show -  "History of used disk space is still being gathered" ?

I had 2 external drives that we used in the past but they are not connected anymore... maybe its effecting somehow?

Storage trending statuses for disk storage and virtual disks

When connecting external HD for inventory and catalog - do I need to create something ? "After you create disk storage"?

Do I make the right steps ?

Can you please explain how was the data backed up on these drives? Did you use the STORAGE PROVISIONING OPTION to backup to a disk array?

I got this server with all the external hard drive and dont know much about the configuration that was made...
and its 2 years old and dont have anyone to ask ...
I'm trying to contact veritas direct .... cause its already deleted 3 external drives...
