I was looking for something on the client side such a small program or PowerShell script to notify us when the computer was completely rebooted. &nbsp;We are using Splashtop and know the ports however we often have multiple machines running Splashtop inside a client LAN so a ping wouldn't be practical.

You don't seem to understand what I am saying.<br />

Your server has an IP address and that is unique inside your network, so if you allow ping into your network, you can use the ping response to determine if it's up or not.<br />
<br />
Please help me understand why you cannot do that. ping is run on the client side.

Assuming pinging the public IP is not possible or sufficient, you can of course run a scheduled task which sends an email when online again. Just setting that up as enabled will inform you on every reboot; if you need to do it case by case disable the task and enable it only if rebooting yourself.<br />

Are you trying to do that against different customers / sites? In that case it gets more difficult, as you would have to cope with local email server and (with default action without script) having no SMTP AUTH.<br />
Otherwise (and if you do not need a script for sending emails with advanced options) a simple script or manual action can be used to create the task - just create it somewhere manually, then export, and use that exported XML for importing on those machines.

I am sorry that you feel that way. &nbsp;I felt like we didn't have meeting of the minds on it and really is something we don't actually need and is too much trouble for us to implement and try to verify a solution. &nbsp;So rather than having a unverified solution and just checking the box say it is my solution I am asking for a deletion. &nbsp;At the end of the day, isn't EE going for the angle of having the best community sourced knowledge base.
