ACT! to Android via Companion Link and Deja Office problems.
Hi I have ACT and like to sync my contacts with my Droid Phone, they only way I know is what I have been using. I sync Act to Deja Office through Companionlink. This part works great, I can verify all 3,800 contacts sync to the onine Deja Office site. Problem is when I sync my phone to Deja Office with my Droid it completes, but only gives me 2,300 contacts. I have uninstalled the service on my Droid, and the same number comes through.

John, I thought that was going to be it, that long hold "re read" data, but that didn't work same amount of contacts. I'm going to buy an android tablet (they are on sale at best buy) today and see if that can read all the data, if so I think I'm going to reformat my phone.
Jackie, I kinda wanted to stay away from the act phone software, I have heard too many bad things about it, and I wanted to manage it with my andoroid contacts, not that act interface.

Please let us know after re-setting the phone.

I will let you know once I load up on the new android tablet. One more thing I noticed, my phone says that my deja office is expired, when I go to the dejaoffice online it dosen't say that, and everything looks OK. Do I need a deja subscription?
Either that or upgrade it to a newer version

ok great, Ill try that too
Just thought I'd add ...
If you have Act! 20.1, or later, you can use the built-in sync via Google or Outlook.
But personally, I prefer to use Handheld Contact to access Act! data on my Android. It's by far the most reliable way
