"XXXS.accdb is not a valid path"

Dear Experts,
I upgraded Access from 2010 to 2016, and am trying to run the Runtime version on one of the client's computers.  The database file resides on shared drive, but there is no "File->Option" to add the network file to the trusted location in the 2016 Access Runtime version.
Please advise.

Though my article doesn't deal with specific runtime issues, it might help you to a smooth distribution:

Deploy and update a Microsoft Access application with one click
If you are working in an environment where you have IT support, you can provide your network admin with the necessary registry key values and they can distribute them for you.

Dear Jim, I manually edited the registry, and it worked.  Thank you!!

Dear Gustav, Thank you for a valuable information, I will study it, and am sure will benefit from it.

Dear Pat, I am the admin for this place, so I needed to edit the registry.  Thank you for your suggestion, though.
If you are the admin, you can "push" the registry changes.  There is no need to touch each PC to manually modify the registry.
