One question would be do they get any sounds out of the laptop, like for other applications, and is this just affecting Teams?<br />

Also, one thought on the &quot;can't unmute&quot; part of this, it could be the case that a usable sound interface is not being detected by Windows. &nbsp;Have a look in Control Panel, Device Manager and see if there are any devices with errors there, and if there is a sound card recognized, etc. &nbsp;It may be a question of downloading a driver from the laptop manufacturer to get it working.<br />

I have a customer who needs MS Teams for his day-to-day work but cannot use it because the Audio and speakers are muted. He says his laptop won't allow him to unmute the Audio. I'm looking for ways to help him but I don't have a clue where to start.<br />
