Multiple SCCM clients are not updating to the newest deployed client

SCCM Client 5.00.8740.1031 will not update on a bunch of computers.
I have looked at the C:\windows\ccmsetup\logs  and I am not seeing any error, but nor am I seeing newer ccmsetup.log, client.msi.log, ccmsetup-ccmeval.log.  I have to be missing something.

I have manually attempted to update by right clicking on the computer in SCCM and select install client, but nothing.

I am running the most current SCCM 5.00.8740.1033 on the server and 5.00.8740.1031 is the most current client.

Might be permissions related or firewall on the client.
If you install manually on the client from the SMS_"SITE"\Client\ folder does it install properly?
Have you reviewed the server side logs?

I have not review the server site and I feel a bit embarrassed that I am not sure which log I should look at on the server.

I do not think its a permission thing since the other clients that did update (130 machines) and they are have the same Group Policies and security applied.
I would start in the wsusctrl.log and the CCM.log

It's not windows updates that is the issue. It's the client that is not updating
The logs on the server side will include information about client communication and status of the automated deployment which could prevent update.

You indicated you already reviewed the client side logs and found no errors.

I reviewed the CCMSETUP\logs , but not the CCM\logs

Now here comes the strange part. I just went back to my list of devices and one of the machines I have been focusing on updated today.

The only thing that I did yesterday was deleted the c:\\Windows\ccmsetup\{GUID} folder.
Makes me wonder if the problem may be a reboot thing due to in use files.
I have not personally had that issue but I guess it is possible.
