Incoming HTML message font changing in Outlook

I have this issue where I am sending an HTML email to an Outlook 2013 user. The email looks fine when I look at its preview in the HTML editor as well as when viewing it using a secondary HTML editor. It looks fine when I look at it in a browser based email client (hotmail). But when the email is received by a user using Outlook, the message's font size changes in what appears to be random parts of the mail. Does anyone know what would cause that? UPDATE: I should also mention when I open the Outlook version of the email in the web browser by clicking View In Browser on that email, it opens in a web page showing as it should.

Can you confirm if you're using standard fonts in the HTML?

Outlook does not have a full html client. It will use the fonts only from the windows fonts folder.
