Cannot Upgrade MC9090 from WM5.1 to 6.1.
Upgrade MC9090 from WM5.1 to 6.1.
I have looked all over and tried several procedures but nothing has worked to upgrade my MC9090s.
Is there any way to do this now? I called Zebra and they said they stopped selling upgrade licenses in 2017 but we have about 65 of these guns and around 40 of them need to be upgraded from WM5.1 to WM6.1 to run with a software update that was released for our WMS.

Their Website... implies... upgrading to 6.1 is supported + easy.
Noticed the word implied... which means you may hit problems which require opening a support ticket to resolve.

Oh yes the process sounds very simple, until of course you get to the license part, where they say they will no longer provide upgrade licenses.
Waiting on a reseller to contact me about a support contract so I find out if an upgrade is still even possible.
I've found instructions online about how to do it but it always gets to the reboot and says J:\MC9090 basically does not have the upgrade files.

No luck so far. Have not heard or been able to get in touch with reseller.
