GMail bounces back inbound emails containing accents in the local-part of the email address
GMail is bouncing back inbound emails when the local-part contains an accent. For example:
stéphane.louis@ourdomain.c om instead of stephane.louis@ourdomain.c om
Our GMail environment is US/English.
We do not have relationships with the senders. The few we contacted were 1) unaware they shouldn't use accents and 2) told use their French spellchecker replaced automatically...
Is there some hidden setting in Gmail? Any options?
