Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services Setup
I have Questions on the setup Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services. I am setting up on a Server 2012 R2. The purpose will be to support web services for Great Plains. The wizard is asking about an Application Directory Partition, do I create one to support web services for Great Plains? If so, the example shows CN=Partition1 ,DC=Woodgrove, DC=COM.Does this mean that:
DC would be Local domainname?
DC would be LOCAL instead of COM if the AD is domainname.local?
