The "Menu" bar in Chrome is the "three dots"  far right in the address bar. That pulls down the menu.  So far as I know you cannot place this in a row across the top in Chrome.

thats what i thought.   any other suggestions.   it used to have a menu bar.   i have the latest edition of google chrome.

There isn't a base option in Chrome to give you that old style menu bar, as mentioned it is accessed via the drop down now.

You can find some extensions that give you this capability though, for example:

I have Google Chrome running here and no true menu bar in the newest editions. Edge does not either.

So then see if Bill's suggestion of 3rd party product helps use.

I find the 3 dots entirely useful
