The biggest challenge implementing Site-To-Site VPN shall be your Bandwidth. You shall have to manage your internet links, and ensure that there is sufficient bandwidth between the two sites to ensure communication.<br />

If your budget allows, I would recommend having a second slower failover internet link at your site incase one link decides to go down. You can load balance between the two allowing you redundancy.<br />

Having the FSMO roles onsite whilst servers are being migrated to the data centre is a good idea.<br />
We will transfer roles back to the data centre, once servers and site-to-site VPN are stable.
