Exchange 2013 Active Sync Device Approvals Extremely Delayed
We have a 3 server Exchange 2013 CU 18 DAG, running on MS Server 2012 R2. We require our users request their devices be allowed after connecting them to active sync. The last couple of weeks I have noticed a major delay between approving the device and the approval being effective in exchange. I have checked the resource utilization and nothing has changed up or down. However, the delay seems to be getting worse as time goes. I have also reviewed the network settings on the server and our bandwidth has not changed either.
Troubleshooting I have done:
I have updated and rebooted all 3 servers, and reviewed logs and cannot find any errors. Other than the extreme delay between granting access to the devices and it being effective.

Are the only Exchange servers the three in the DAG ?
ASKER
Yes
Do you have more than one AD site ?
ASKER
Yes
I would guess that inter site AD replication would be the cause of the delay.
Perhaps one of the servers in the DAG is configured to use a DC that is not in the same site ?
