Distribution group to accept external emails

Distribution group to accept external emails

I have Exchange Distribution Group named EDG.
I would like to allow the EDG group to accept emails coming from outside the organization for any emails from a specific domain, example: extdomain.com

So in Exchange ECP console/Delivery Management, I selected "Senders inside and outside of my organization" then clicked the "+" sign. Now how do I add just the extdomain  to allow all emails coming from it to be accepted by the EDG distribution group ?

Thank you

You can't add it based solely on a domain. You will have to use email addresses.

so if I select : "Senders inside and outside of my organization"

it will do it , but  any external email can be accepted ..correct ?

By the way is there any Powershell command to achieve that ? I mean to allow emails from specific domain to be accepted by a specific distribution group
I started with Experts Exchange in 2004 and it's been a mainstay of my professional computing life since. It helped me launch a career as a programmer / Oracle data analyst

yes if you dont specify than any external sender can send to that DL

no there is no powershell that will allow that either. it only takes emails addresses and not single domains.

in this case, can I create a contact in Active Directory for instance   Contact1@Extdomain.com , then on the Distribution Group /Delivery management , I can just leave the " Only senders inside  my organization"  selected and click "+" sign and add the contact  I have created Contact1@Extdomain.com
