dynamic form creation.

I need to build a aspx page that collects data.
On the page I have a dropdown for the number of people attending the event.
I want a dynamic  form that requests attendees information, but only for the number of attendees.
This has to live in the .net world

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

What architecture did you choose? .aspx and .Net can mean a bunch of different approaches. Here you should look at https://asp.net for further information, documentation and lots of videos.

What does dynamic mean by your terms? Based on what requirements or data? The approach nowadays would be doing it in the client. Otherwise it can be a grid component or anything else..

It is built within our Ektron CMS, all of our pages are aspx pages targeting .NET framework 4.6.1.
Our CMS do not have this capability so we need to build it outside - we understand the database storing and do not need help with that part.

I wish to create a page that collects user information, so if the user chooses to invite 3 other invitees it will create three textboxes, If the user  chooses to invite 25 other invitees it will create 25 textboxes.

you mention a grid component - I would need help understanding and building that.
