Task Manager shows 36 open ( I assume sessions ) with only 4 actual tabs open. What is going on with my bowser and what does this mean in Task Manager?

I am having some resource issues with my laptop and went to Task Manager and found this. With only 4 tabs open in Chrome all day. It seems to show 36 different session open. Strange. Why does this happen and should I be worried or should I stop them? End Task?

I get it now. I had several extensions for web development, a couple of Focus tools that block Facebook and constant checking of social media and a few other extensions. So I think you nailed it. Each one of those were taking resources. Last night I had about 35-36 of those open and it was taking up 3200 mb of memory.

You guys are awesome. Now if I could just get one of you to take & pass my Tableau Software Exam I would be all set.
