what is the best practices css code to ensure that the message always stay on the top.?

I have a simple Ajax call and when the Ajax is running successfully, I just want to show thank you message.

I did some google research but when I tested by using phone and laptop...it works different. see you can help me. thanks

Hi,

I avoid popup / modal I always display all messages on the page / form
this is less annoying and this ensure that user see the the message  and this is compatible with all browser / device.
I usually put the message at the bottom of the form near the buttons (near the latest action).
I also prefer displaying message using server side code (PHP) after all server side (PHP) validation is done.
