Symantec backup exec 2010

Hi guys,
I got a backupexec 2010 product to backup my sever
 
Backups everything going good everyday. I just want to know how do I find how many days of backup it has ? How do i find retention policy.

yes you can check and you can reset the retention peretentionriod for that perticular job as well ...

additionally you can check the backup sets-
backup and Restore- servers- select the server (backup job)  - doubleclick it- find the server - u'll see the backup sets - click it... u'll find all the backup sets..

For Tape's
STORAGE >> Tape & Disk Media >>All Media Sets>>Create Media Set >>Change Properties  

For Disk's
GO to Job Monitor >>Select and job the use disk storage >>right click >>edit>>Backup >>edit >>Storage>>edit keep for period

Instead of "keep for " option, mine says media set.
Does it mean, it keeps till the media set gets full and over writing ?

you can change media set properties depend on your needs
 STORAGE >> Tape & Disk Media >>All Media Sets>>Create Media Set >>Change Properties
