Add Storage HP - HPE StoreVirtual CMC

We have HP HPE P4300 G2 Storage Systems, i have made 2 arrays, in first array i have put operating system (Win 2012), second array it has 13TB.
I am trying to add this new SAN server in HPE StoreVirtual Centralized Management Console, but its not picking it up, i have attached screenshot.
Do i have to add Initiator Node Name? i tried to look through i didn't find that information.
How can add the new SAN Storage to HPE StoreVirtual CMC?

Thanks.

You do have to add the initiator and present the LUNs to it. Boot from SAN is not very common with iSCSI so I doubt your OS LUN will be any use,

The screenshot seems to be the servers that make up the SAN, you do not put the initiators there, If you were adding another storage node you would use that page.

I was able to add the server through iqn details, but I am not sure how to present its storage to Cluster?
we have 3 more SAN servers they have ESX on it.
When I try to add new windows server to cluster, its not able to find it.
Is there anyway I can add this server storage to cluster? or I have to install Ubuntu on it?
thanks
Sorry bit it is not at all clear what you are trying to do. Are you trying to add more storage to the P4300 so your ESX hosts have more space to use or add another host to your ESX cluster?

>or I have to install Ubuntu on it?

That's really baffling, A P4300 storage system can provide SAN based storage to many different operating systems. You can make one LUN for an Ubuntu server, another LUN for a Windows server and a third LUN for an ESX cluster if you want.

sorry I will be more clear, we run VMWARE environment, we have 3 SANS, all of them HP p4300, there storage is full now, now we have one more san, we have to present the storage of this new san to VMs overall storage, so that we have space to use for backups, and install new VMS.
I have attached screenshot, under servers you will see SAN05, that's the new SAN, on one of its array it has Windows 2012 OS, it seats separates to rest of SANs, not sure why.
Under Storage systems, you will see 4 of them, I have to add new SAN05 there which I don't know how to add?
if you look at second screenshot, when I try to  find the new SAN05(10.20.250.145) its unable to find it?

Thanks.

Thanks for that, we have the license.
I guess next step is to install HPE SAN/IQ? I logged on to HPE website, please see the screenshot, I got few options to download, I have downloaded the highlighted one, kindly let me know if there is anything else to download.
Is there any guide or steps on how to run and setup SAN/IQ?

You only need VSA, the management software is what is on the CMC workstation you took the initial screenshots from.

Remove the server that you added as a hist via iqn, you put that in when I thought you wanted to add a VMware host. Also remove the node you added until you have the new node installed and running, then discover it via CMC.

Remove the iSCSI config on the host and the iSCSI IP address for it, That;s the IP address for the VM, not the VMware/Hyper-V host. When you first login to the VM you will be prompted for IP address etc.

When you add the node do not make it a manager, your current 3 servers are managers but this one should not be as you need an odd number of managers as they vote to elect which nodes continue running in the event of network failure and have to be an odd number.

Thanks for that.

The VM you are referring to will be the VM which will be created by VSA image? any guideline on how to configure it?

thanks.
