How to add a new Exchange hybrid server when you have a cluster with DAG and CAS
I'm running Exchange 2013 and planning to migrate to Office 365. I have a cluster with DAG and CAS. I'm creating a new Exchange 2013 hybrid to run the migration. Should this sever be part of the cluster or standalone? Which will be the effects in one case or the other? According to Microsoft documentation:
"Exchange 2013: At least one server with the Mailbox and Client Access server roles installed. While it's possible to install the Mailbox and Client Access roles on separate servers, we strongly recommend that you install both roles on each server to provide additional reliability and improved performance."https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/hybrid-deployment-prerequisites Do I need to install all roles in all existing server? Will the migration or current configuration be affected if the roles are just installed only in the hybrid server? and what would be any negative effect if I do it Your help is highly appreciated!
