But, when I plug it into the Samsung monitor, I only see the desktop of the PC displayed on the monitor.<br />

Windows 10 EliteBook does not find second monitor

I have an HDMI cable and got an adapter called:

4K * 2K ULTRA HD

But, when I plug it into the Samsung monitor, I only see the desktop of the PC displayed on the monitor.

So, I go to the laptop, right-click and select Display Settings.

But it does not detect a second monitor.
