wireless network connection is connected twice on computer
My boss has a wireless network that shows up on his computer as being connected to 2 connections at the same time. At least that is what it looks like. It shows the wireless network of "Bison2" as currently connected to but underneath where it shows all of the connecetions in range, it shows "Bison" as connected. He says it interferes with things which he could not explain to me what he meant by that. When I right click the adapter in network and sharing (which shows it as connected to "Bison 2") the SSID shows up as "Bison"
See screenshots and let me know what is going on if you can.

John. If I delete the profiles and restart will it come up with a profile name (generic) or do I have to go into the web portal for the router and create the name?
No. Just go to the wireless icon on the computer and connect. You should see the SSID and enter the key

SO IT WILL KEEP THE NAME OF THE SSID?
Yes.

OK. So if I want "Bison" to be the only profile name to show up do I have to delete profile "Bison2" and profile "Bison" or only delete profile "Bison2"?
I would delete both for certainty and then set up the one you want (Bison). That will ensure a proper job

Sorry for all the questions. This is for the BOSS! So when I delete both should only 1 come up after that? Why does it show Bison and Bison2?
If you delete both profiles on the computer as outlined above, and restart the computer, and then try to connect, you should only see one SSID.
If you see two SSIDs, then the router has two SSISs and you need to correct that. But everyone (not just the BOSS) should see two SSIDs

If this works, well and good. If not, you might consider the possibility below.
This system has a dual-band adapter. It may be possible to attach to both a 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz network simultaneously.
Try going into Device Manager and disabling the 5 GHz band and see what happens. Ditto for the 2.4 GHz band. Hopefully this will result in a clarification of the situation.
