Challenge: Two external screen goes black about every 10 minutes, but not the laptop’s LCD.

Latitude 7490 connected to a WD15 docking station.

A hardware diagnostic test found no issues and the chipset drivers software was the only item that needed to be installed.

I've seen this monitor blinking issue before and it was related to the WD15 docking station, I believe there is docking station software you can install from Dell that might alleviate the problem.

This is the page from Dell that I have used.

I seen this problem with this docking station connected to dual monitors, in addition to updating the firmware on the docking station update the bios on the laptop to the latest version. I found that I had to update both before it had any effect.  Also check to see if the users are using the correct ac adapter to power on the docking station, you need to use the large brick ac adapter that comes with the docking station and not the smaller ac adapter that comes with the laptop.  The one that comes with the laptop is to be used only when powering on the laptop when it is disconnected from the docking station. The laptop ac adapter does not provide the amperage needed to power the laptop and the docking station.  If this does not resolve the issue you need to contact Dell to replace the defective docking stations.
