troubleshooting Question

Folders in Windows 10 Pro started compressing. I don't remember ever setting that and knowingly would not compress any folders. Can anyone tell me what is or has caused this?

After a Windows 10 Pro update on Friday of this past week. Many of my folders are showing up as compressed when I never set any of them knowingly to compress themselves. Can anyone tell me what has caused this?
