Problem migrating CIFS shares using Data Mover migration tool

Hello everybody,

I am trying to migrate the cifs shares from a VNX 5400 to UNITY 400 storage using the Data Mover Tool.

All went well untill on the Unity I am not able to see the Cifs shares I need to import.

So here it is what I have done untill now:


1. I have added The interfaces on the unity which will allow us to migrate and later to do the replications
2.On the VNX I have created a new interface for each cifs share and then attached it with this cmd line

server_cifs <vdm_name> -add
compname=<compname>,domain=<domainname>,interface=<nas_
migration_interface>,dns=<specific_prefix.domainname

3. Once this is done we will have 2 IP adresses on the cifs shares on the VNX
4 I have also executed those cmd lines on the vnx :

server_param server_2 -facility cifs -modify acl.extacl -value 28
server_param server_2 -facility cifs -modify acl.mappingErrorAction -value 11

5. On the Unity I have created the Connection link with the vnx

6. And finally when I am trying to create a new import session in order to start the migration , I am not having the CIFs I need to migrate.

Anyone has any ideas please?
