Personally I don't think those features would make a difference or be necessary. You will probably be fine buying the older versions.<br />

I am looking to buy Microsoft Surface Pro 6 which is newest generation of Surface Pro.<br />
With that, I like to know if I have to buy newest version of Pen and Keyboard or I can get away with used or old version of pen and keyboard.<br />
My purpose is to replace yellow notepad. I like to take notes in meetings using PEN and paste information into Word/Excel or convert meeting notes to PDF document.<br />
