Where is log showing user set O365 OWA email to forward to personal email?

i have a user that set her work O365 Outlook Web Access (OWA) mailbox to forward to her person mail (gmail, yahoo, etc...). IT Security has asked me to find the log that shows she changed her O365 OWA mail to forward to her online personal email. She did this quite a while ago.

How can i see that audit trail/log and show the Security dept that she did in fact make that change/set her work email to forward to personal email?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

It depends on what type of forwarding she has set, and how long ago it was set. In general, you can search the Unified audit log: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office365/securitycompliance/search-the-audit-log-in-security-and-compliance

you need to go to compliance portal:

https://protection.office.com/homepage

go to alerts, Alert Policy

If you have a policy created for "forwarding Rule" it will be there, if not  you need to create one.

then you can go to "view Alerts" and find any information available.
