How can I see what happened to a particular Facebook group invite request? I can't find the original request, and I can't remember enough about the group name to find it again.

Assistance is greatly appreciated.

As far as I know there is no way for you (as an invitee) can see a prior Group request that you decline.  I think the group manager can see these in some fashion, but I don't manage any groups so not positive.

Click on your name, then activity log.  On the left you have some choices to filter, choose groups.

The URL will look like https://www.facebook.com/{{YOUR_NAME}}/allactivity

Scott,

In the "Membership Activity" subsection of Groups there, that only shows when I accept and join, at least for me.  Do you see more than that, including things you declined or ignored?

@Scott,

Ah, got it, I reread your prior post, I understand now.  So I guess we still haven't tracked down a way to see breadcrumbs of invites we declined, that's too bad, hoped we were on to something...

@Bill  and @ Scott

The likely hood of them finding a decline is like the Instagram question the answer is no.    Unless tracked on your smartphone notification is turned on.  This also depends on how long your phone tracks the notification for the days or week before removing automatically removing them.
